Rectangular finned electric heaters are used for heating air or gas in natural or forced convection for the construction of ovens, drying cabinets, storage rooms requiring temperature maintenance. They are manufactured from stainless steel armoured elements to which rectangular cooling fins are attached to improve heat exchange. Threaded fixing plugs allow the resistors to be mounted on a support. The heating tube and fins can withstand surface temperatures up to 650 °C without damage.
