High temperature hot air generators

High temperature air heaters are designed to heat dry circulating air to temperatures of 250 to 600°C maximum, depending on the model. The air is heated directly by bare resistive wires, which considerably reduces the heater's inertia (only a few seconds are needed to raise the temperature) and enables high temperatures to be reached in a small appliance. These generators can be used in open circuit (lost air), for process applications (drying, polymerisation, etc.). They must be coupled to a fan or blower and cannot operate without air flow without the risk of rapid deterioration. Motorised fans are also available.
