Ferritic stainless steel rectangular finned heater 40 x 80 - 2000 W - 400 V - 4,5 W/cm2
430 Ferritic stainless steel rectangular finned heater 40 x 80 for natural or forced convection heating of air or gas. The heater consists of a 16 mm Ø 321 stainless steel shielded heating element and 2 M20 x 150 protected steel fixing plugs (seals and nuts supplied).
The presence of fins on the heater increases the surface and exchange coefficient. This technology allows the power density per unit area, referred to as "load", to be improved in order to design compact heating coils. The stainless steel heating tube and cooling fins can withstand surface temperatures of up to 650 °C without damage.
The electrical connection is made via M6 threaded terminals made of protected steel.
Maximum temperature at the terminals: 200 °C
For natural convection, it is preferable to use the heaters flat, supporting them by their ends if necessary.
In forced convection, avoid placing the terminals in the upper part of the heater banks.
For a horizontal use in radiator mode, we propose as accessories, a set of 2 complete supports in protected steel ref. 6004.81 as well as a terminal protection box in polyamide ref. 6004.99 or in aluminium ref. 6004.80 (not supplied with the heater).
