Electric ceramic band heater suitable for heating cylindrical workpieces with a nominal Ø of 500 mm, up to a maximum temperature of 700 °C. The band heater consists of a heating wire wound into a coil and inserted into soapstone elements. An outer metal sheet provides mechanical protection and allows the clamp to be tightened to the workpiece with the help of screws. With a power of 1650 W / 230 V 1P, the band is loaded to 2 W/cm2 maxi. The electrical connection is made on 2 M7 threaded terminals.
