Electric mica band heaters are designed to heat cylindrical shapes up to a maximum temperature of 350°C. They are loaded to a maximum of 4 W/cm2. Easy to use, thin, mica band heaters, applied directly to the outside of the part, can be used to heat or maintain the temperature of solid shapes or a fluid (gas or liquid) stored in an enclosure or circulating in a pipe. They consist of a heating wire or tape insulated by two mica plates, all protected by a metal clamping plate. Clamping device by screw. The electrical connection is made on 2 threaded terminals.
