Sheathed steatite-insulated strip heaters

Sheathed steatite strip heaters, rectangular shaped, are designed for the direct heating of flat metal parts ( plates, moulds, templates, tools...), up to a temperature of 300 °C or 700 °C depending on the model. They can heat large surfaces by grouping several heaters placed side by side. They are made up of a coiled heating wire, supported by ceramic insulators, all protected by a stainless steel shield. The electrical connection is made on 2 threaded terminals or by nickel cables under ceramic beads.
