Immersion heaters for pharmaceutical applications

Electric immersion heaters with ?Clamp? fittings, conforming to the ASME BPE standard, are specifically designed to heat fluids (liquids or gases) in a tank or in circulation through a flow heater, for agro-food or pharmaceutical environments. They consist of sheathed heating cartridges welded onto the ?Clamp? fitting. All components in contact with the fluid to be heated are made of 316L stainless steel and feature a suitable surface finish (Ra ≤ 0.6 or 0.8) to minimise retention and, consequently, the risk of contamination. The immersion heaters are equipped with a stainless steel junction box to protect the electrical connections.
