In-line heaters for pharmaceutical applications

Circulating fluid heaters, compliant with the ASME BPE standard, are specifically designed to heat liquids up to 100 °C (water, CIP solutions, purified water, etc.) for food and pharmaceutical applications. They consist of a body fitted with ASME BPE Clamp ferrule inlet and outlet connections, as well as an immersion heater equipped with heating cartridges. All components in contact with the fluid are made of 316L stainless steel and feature an appropriate surface finish (Ra ≤ 0.8 or Ra ≤ 0.6) to minimise hold-up volumes and the risk of contamination. Electrical connection is provided via a stainless steel IP55 terminal box.
