CO² vaporiser designed to vaporise a nominal flow of 570kg/h of liquid CO² (-25°C to -15°C) into gaseous CO² at a minimum of +5°C. Heating power 60 kW at 400V 3P, operating pressure 13 to 30bar(g). Vaporisation is ensured by the circulation of a primary heat transfer fluid through a plate heat exchanger, providing the thermal transfer required for the vaporisation of the CO² flow rate. The vaporiser is equipped with a low outlet gas temperature cut-off system with a proportional valve at the fluid outlet. Hydraulic connections are via 2 × ND20 NP40 RF flanges (EN1092-1). It is equipped with an electrical control panel, featuring an CMS controller on the front face, which controls and limits the high and low CO² outlet temperatures.
CO² thermal fluid vaporisers provide the heating and vaporisation of CO² for a wide range of industrial applications such as food processing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, as well as industrial gas cleaning and processing applications.
The vaporisation of the CO² is carried out indirectly by means of a heat transfer fluid (water / mono-ethylene glycol mixture) electrically heated and circulated through a copper-brazed stainless steel plate heat exchanger, ensuring excellent thermal control and complete separation between the CO² circuit and the heat source.
The complete system, including the electric heater, motor pump unit, expansion vessel, plate heat exchanger, instrumentation and pipework, is integrated into a stainless steel skid and electrical enclosure, forming a compact, ready-to-connect solution. The vaporiser is fitted with automatic CO² outlet temperature control, together with dedicated high and low temperature safety devices.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor installation, the CO² thermal fluid vaporiser provides a fully electric, reliable and high-performance solution, compatible with modern industrial requirements and carbon footprint reduction objectives.
